Montana Trout Stalkers is both a guide service and a booking agent for other outfitters and guides who work for us as Independent Contractors. It is a very close-knit community of both male and female guides we work with regularly. All of them are friendly, courteous, and professional PREDATORS!
Joe Dilschneider - Owner/outfitter of Montana Trout Stalkers. Began guiding after graduating from the University of Colorado in 1992. In the spring of 1995, moved to Ennis Montana (Trout Mecca) and started MTS.

All the ingredients of a great fishing guide: knowledge, patience, skill, and an infectious enthusiasm for the sport. Whether you are a beginner, expert, or somewhere in between, Joey will work hard to put you on the fish and show you a good time on the river.

Adam has been stalkin' Trout on the waters of SW Montana since 1997 when he moved here to attend Montana State University. In addition to earning his PhD in Fish Catchin', he has a degree in Landscape Design. Adam takes great pride in all of his work, whether it be teaching someone how to fish a streamer or his off-season beautiful artisan woodwork.

"The only true expert in Fly Fishing for Trout, is the Trout!" Mike Lum however is the possible exception. He is literally a walking encyclopedia on all things pertaining to Trout fishing. In addition, he is also an excellent guide and instructor. When he's not guiding or hunting Mike can be found managing one of the world's finest fly shops, the Madison River Fishing Company in Ennis, Montana.

Charlie brings extensive fly fishing knowledge and experience and a great deal of enthusiasm for our sport to the Trout Stalkers team. He will work hard to put you into the fish he loves so much.

If enthusiasm is contagious, you'll catch a bad case of it from this guy. You'll probably also catch a bunch of Trout too! There are few guides out there who can row a boat up the Madison, but Chris is one of them.

She is an excellent Fly Fisher, Oarsman, and instructor. She works well with everyone, and knows how to catch the BIG ones. Evidence shown below.

As a Montana native, Nick cut his fly fishing teeth at an early age. Born and raised on the Madison River, he certainly knows the ways of these wily Trout and he'll gladly share his knowledge with you!
