TFO has teamed up with famed Australian reel designer Terry Hayden to create a new reel that is designed to battle the strongest fish in the ocean.

Machined from 6061 marine grade aluminum and Type III Hard Anodized, TFO's Hayden reels are built tough for a lifetime of service. Hard Anodization penetrates the base metal becoming an integral part of the material while building up on the surface creating a finish that is harder and more durable than those found on the most expensive reels.

Three stainless steel bearings and a large surface area cork drag are combined for smooth start up and positive stopping power. Three sizes cover your big game needs.

TFO Large Arbor reels are machined form 6061 aluminum and offer a state of the art draw bar/carbon fiber disk drag. Three bearings give our reel its smooth as silk spin and a one way roller bearing makes it easily convertible from left to right hand retrieve. MK Series Fly Reels by Temple Fork Outfitters

Temple Fork Outfitters MK series reels are precision machined from aircraft grade anodized aluminum, stainless steel and brass. The spools are quickly detachable and easily converted from left to right hand retrieve. A counterbalance precisely offsets the weight of a resin impregnated wooden handle. The exposed rim allows the ultimate in fine tuned control when fighting a fish. The TFO I, with a click pawl drag, is ideal for light lines and delicate rods. The TFO MK I and MK II have an offset Teflon disc drag system with a one way roller bearing, are saltwater safe and ideal for 4-8 weight lines.
